Christian Marketplace magazine criticises the quantity of compilation CDs

THE JANUARY issue of influential British trade magazine Christian Marketplace contained an editorial from its editor Clem Jackson where he put forward resolutions and suggestions for all those involved in the Christian retail trade, identifying publishers, distributors, retailers and church leaders as all needing to address particular issues. Concerning Christian music, Jackson wrote, "There are still too many books, compilation CDs, etc, flooding the market."
