THE SON of country legends Johnny and June Carter Cash, John Carter Cash, personally selected the tracks for a new tribute to the Carter Family album. 'Voice Of The Spirit: The Gospel Of The South' features renditions of well known and lesser known Carter Family songs including "What Are You Doing In Heaven Today" sung by Vince Gill; "If I Be Lifted Up", Earl and Randy Scruggs; "Unclouded Day", Johnny Cash; "12 Gates To The City", Mavis Staples and Marty Stuart; and "Ain't No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down", the Fisk Jubilee Singers.  CR
