Award-winning Southern gospellers The Akins back with new album

THE GROUP The Akins, who were founded in 2008 as a father and three sons team and who now continue as a trio, have released a new album. A review in the sogospelbackrow website read, "It has been three years since the Akins gave listeners new music with their 2014 release 'Vintage'. 'Eyes On The Road' continues Akins' country sound/style that separates them from the pack in Southern gospel music. Akins is a family band centring around the lead vocals of Nick Akin (lead acoustic guitar). Eli Akin (harmony vocals, banjo, fiddle, acoustic guitar) and David Akin (harmony vocals, piano, bass guitar) round out the group."
