1985 album expanded for new Staple Singers package

THE GOSPEL group the Staple Singers, who in the '70s and '80s became R&B hitmakers, are showcased on a re-issued album. 'The Staple Singers: Expanded Edition' is issued by Soulmusic Records and features the group's 1985 album together with bonus tracks. Included in the project is the Staples' Top 40 hit version of "Slippery People" produced by Talking Heads' David Byrne. CR
