Columbia's Allyn Johnson fronts Divine Order jazz ensemble
THE DIRECTOR of jazz studies at the University of the District Of Columbia and acclaimed pianist, Allyn Johnson, is fronting an inspirational jazz ensemble, Divine Order. The group's self-titled debut album is released in the US and features renditions of such songs as the old hymn "Jesus Loves Me", the festive "He Lives In Me" and the rock-influenced "Angels".
