Mainstream rock act. Tribe Of Dan, call it a day.

Donovan, leader of alternative rock band Tribe Of Dan, has announced the band's demise. The Tribe played their last gig in Horn, Holland on 29th November after a 13-date European tour.

"The Tribe Of Dan was not really a band," Dan told Cross Rhythms. "It was basically a Dan Donovan solo project, but if you do live sets you need to have a band around you. The band have been pretty static for the last year and I did not want the thing to progress into a band-based project." The Tribe Of Dan album 'Shook Up, Shook Up' has been picked up by US alternative label Blond Vinyl for Stateside distribution.
