Difficulties put relationship for Cross Rhythms and Crossfire to work together on hold

PLANS FOR Cross Rhythms and Crossfire to effectively work together have been halted through difficulties in establishing a mutually satisfactory working relationship. Cross Rhythms CEO, Chris Cole said that 30% of the effort of restoring Crossfire would be in developing a rescue package which would sort out the £18,000 - £20,000 debt. "The money and partners were in place to at least make some kind of sensible offer to the creditors, but it just hasn't happened", (see article on page 30). The other 70% of the effort would be in actually putting a festival together. "Since it has taken us 14 months, without success to restructure financially, I am not convinced there is a 'heart' in Liverpool to see another festival happen as yet. I have asked some leaders in Liverpool to pray and counsel us if they discern that there is a motivation in the region to work with Cross Rhythms".
