August Burns Red release instrumental Christmas album

POSSIBLY the first ever Christmas instrumental heavy metal album has been released in the US by Solid State Records. 'August Burns Red Presents Sleddin' Hill: A Holiday Album' features the progressive metal band and their renditions of songs like "O Holy Night", "Jingle Bells" and "Sleddin' Hill". August Burns Red's lead guitarist J B Brubaker said the album enabled him to "get a little more wild" with his influences and that one of the solos was an ode to 'Blue Album'-era Weezer.
