Report to indicate Christian music the fastest growing genre Stateside

THE RECORDING Industry Association Of America (RIAA) has announced that Christian music is the fastest growing music genre in the USA. It enjoyed a startling 38 per cent growth over 1995 figures. Christian music now represents 4.3 per cent of the music market in the US with gospel sales in 1996 reaching $538 million.
