Worship leader Cody Carnes releases "Christ Be Magnified" single

AMERICAN worship leader Cody Carnes, who spends most of his time travelling and leading worship with his wife Kari Jobe Carnes and who has had Cross Rhythms playlist hits with "Til The End Of Time" and "What Freedom Feels Like", has released a new single. "Christ Be Magnified" is the song Carnes debuted with a live performance at Passion 2020 last week in front of more than 65,000 students. About his new song Carnes said, "We were created to worship. We find our native cry and inmost melody when worship to Jesus is expressed out of us. The foundational prayer for my life is that Jesus would become greater in me. When I study all of Paul's writings in the New Testament I see his teaching point to that prayer. This song 'Christ Be Magnified' is an attempt to put that prayer to music for the Church; a song that lifts a devoted sound of worship to Christ and says 'I'm all in. Whatever it looks like, whatever it costs. I give you my life for the rest of my life.' Death of my flesh is the doorway into the resurrection life of Christ. I want more of that in me! It's my prayer every time I lead this song."
