Jackie Patillo joins Gospel Music Association as executive director

AMERICA's Gospel Music Association (GMA), who administer the annual Dove Awards, have announced Jackie Patillo as executive director. GMA created the new position rather than hire a president to replace John Styll who stepped down in September 2009 as part of a cost cutting effort to keep GMA alive. Patillo recently served as vice president of A&R for Sony's Verity Gospel Music Group and had previously worked in A&R for Star Song and Benson. She is the ex-wife of Christian artist Leon Patillo. CR
