Youth organisation Crusaders gets new president

STEVE CHALKE is the new president of Christian youth organisation Crusaders. Steve, TV presenter, author and international director of Oasis is taking over as president following Clive Calver's departure to the United States. Steve said, "I'm really keen to work in this new role. I've been aware of Crusaders over the years as an organisation that was doing a good work and it's brilliant I can be more involved now. I'm passionate about youth work and I know Crusaders is committed to doing youth work well, to improving and developing it." Steve will speak at the Crusaders Leaders' Conference in October 1998 and attend other Crusader events. CR
