American rockers Bleach to disband
POPULAR American rock band Bleach have announced that they will be calling it a day at the end of August. The band, formed by five students from Kentucky Christian College, have released the albums 'Space' (Forefront, 1996), 'Static' (Forefront, 1998), 'Bleach' (Forefront, 1999), 'Again, For The First Time' (Tooth & Nail, 2002) and 'Astronomy' (Tooth & Nail, 2004). Bleach will be conducting a farewell tour of the USA commencing on August 11th and wrapping up on August 29th. Said lead singer Davy Baysinger, "The last eight and a half years have been amazing. I can honestly say they have been the best years of my live. I feel like I've been able to live a dream, with my very best friends. We've always done our best to be honest and upfront about who we are and the things we've dealt with - the victories and the losses. It's been about so much more than shows and music. The goal for us has always been to bring hope to people who are without it. This band was based on the idea that somehow, we could really make a difference. I wouldn't change a thing."
