Cover of Beatles song latest for The Gray Havens

THE HUSBAND and wife duo from Chicago, The Gray Havens, who have had 11 Cross
Rhythms radio hits, are undertaking an extensive tour of the US with
songsmith John Mark McMillan this spring, and have released a new
single. "Blackbird" is a cover of the old Beatles' song. Said Keith
Stancil, the president of Artist Garden Records, "The song's author,
Paul McCartney, revealed in past interviews that his inspiration for
writing 'Blackbird' came from the struggle he saw black people in the
southern states enduring through the civil rights movement. It feels
like the perfect time to release the song as we roll into February,
the month designated each year to celebrate Black History."
