Mainstream rockers Waking Ashland call it a day
AMERICAN mainstream alt rock band Waking Ashland have announced that they are disbanding. The band had critically acclaimed albums 'Composure' on Tooth & Nail and 'The Well' on Immortal. Said the band's lead singer Jonathan Jones, "We've been touring for three years non-stop and, to state the obvious, that's a long time. Over the course of the band, some irreconcilable differences developed. By the end, I had gotten to a point with Waking Ashland where going forward just did not make sense any more. With that said, we'd like to thank everyone that has ever supported this band in any way." Jones went on to report that he is in a studio in Los Angeles working on a solo EP with Michael Rosas (Smile, Satisfaction) and will then be undertaking a solo tour of the west coast of the USA.
