Canadian alternative rockers Article One join Inpop Records
ONE OF Canada's up and coming rock bands, Ontario-based Article One, who combine violin, keys and three-part vocal harmonies, have been signed by Nashville's Inpop Records. A five-song independent EP released in 2003 created a buzz and the band were asked to join The Elms' autumn tour of the US in 2004. The band's primary songwriter Nathan Piche commented, "All of us in Article One are extremely excited about signing to Inpop. We have spent the last three years developing a sound that is unique, yet accessible, for both the Christian and secular markets. We feel honoured to be joining such a talented roster of artists and privileged to be supported by such an outstanding record company. We cannot wait to begin this stage of our career."
