I don't think it's impossible. P.O.D. have proven that. They are true to their message and are hugely popular. I love how they have been true to their cause. But I don't think God has called too many people to that place, of being in both secular and Christian music. In order to do that, and stay faithful to God, I think you have to be called - like P.O.D. have been. What I feel called to do is to share about the hope of Jesus to anyone who will listen. So, if one of my songs were to be played on secular radio, I would think that was great. It has happened a few times, but as of yet, not a whole lot - but we'll see!
Did you ever have severe doubts in your faith?
I've definitely been through hard times in my faith, but I wouldn't call them "severe" doubts. That sounds like you want to give up. I know I would never give up. But, I have definitely been through hard times where I cry out to God, and ask him "Where are you in this, and what are you doing?"
Do you find those times frustrating?
More painful than anything. I think God grows us through those times,
and grows our trust in him, so it causes our faith to be rooted
deeper.
Praise The LORD Rebeca, you are doing good work. GOD BLESS YOU.
