Faithful to God and His kingdom
Jesus told a story about three servants who were given some of their master's gold. After a long time away, the master returned to find two of the three servants had invested and doubled the amount of gold and one that had not.
To the first two, the master said, "well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things." (Matthew 25:21-23)
The servants had given careful consideration and put in effort to grow what had been invested in them into something bigger.
I wonder how I can be more faithful with what God has given me so that I can partner with Him to help grow His kingdom.
Yours faithfully (...the conclusion)
The good news is that Jesus has sent someone to help us along the way. The Holy Spirit is our helper and one of His fruits is faithfulness.
I'm praying that God would empower me to be increasingly faithful. I wonder if you'll join me in praying and applying this in your life too.
