Paul: Is this seven Israeli cities?

Jobst: Seven Israeli cities, yes in Haifa, Kfar Saba, we will go into the North Metula, to the Border of Lebanon, we are going South to the Gaza area to make a stand, Israel you are not alone we are going with you.

Paul: Why do you love Israel?

Jobst: I love Israel because they are the chosen people of God and to love Israel means to love the heart of God and that is the reason and that is the source of our power.

And what is your prayer finally for this nation?

Jobst: So my prayer is that the nations worldwide raise their voice worldwide against antisemitism. Isaiah the prophet 60 says, "Arise and shine for your light has come" and so my prayer is that together we are light, united we are light and so my prayer is that will happen.

Paul: I'm with Pastor Larry Huch who is from the New Beginnings Church and you have just won the lifetime achievement award here at the Knesset Christian Allies caucus dinner, what's that like for you to win this award today?

Larry: I was doing an interview yesterday with the Jerusalem post and they asked me that same question and I said, "It's extremely exciting but at the same time, and I know this sounds simple to say, I don't feel like I have done anything really to deserve it because standing with Israel and trying as best as we can to be a blessing to Israel, to be a blessing to all the people who live in Israel has been the real honour. That God would for some reason put it in my heart to love Israel, love the Jewish people and to be a part of the different projects that we are a part of with the children, with the hospital, the holocaust, the Aliyah, that has been the real honour, and I mean that sincerely. Israel feels like my second home, the people of Israel feel like my second family and for people in Israel to honour me and my family and all of our partners this way is a very, very special thing.

Paul: Now one of the projects that you talked about was Aliyah, bringing Jews back to the land, is this fulfilling biblical prophecy?

Larry: Absolutely. Everybody knows that before 1948 the quote unquote expert says, "Here is where your bible proves it's not reliable. There have never been people in the world that have lost their country, lost their language, no government, no military and they have returned, it's never happened, it can't happen, your bible is a fairy tale". But we know that when God says he is going to do something, he does it, whether it is water out of a rock or walking on the water, God does miracles. So in 1948 the return of the Jewish people to their promised land was a fulfilment of bible prophecy but a lot of people don't understand that there is another part of that bible prophecy and that part is what is thrilling to us as Christians. God said he will cause Gentiles to be a part of this Aliyah, bringing the Jewish people in our arms and on our shoulders and so the return of the Jewish people to Israel is the miracle. The second part to that miracle is the healing of the relationship between Jews and Christians and it was Gentiles who pushed the Jews out of Israel and now here is the miracle of God, he has reversed that and it is Gentiles in part helping bring Jews back to Israel, it's amazing, it's such an honour and such a privilege from God to be a part of fulfilling bible prophecy.

Paul: Are you saving lives by bringing them back here?

Larry: Well, you know that is one of the things that I was asking the folks at Keren Hayesod. Some people come because they want a better life, some people come because of antisemitism, persecution and so a big part is giving people their homeland but another part of it is literally saving someone's life. Just because they are Jewish they are being persecuted, being threatened, some are even being killed and the sad thing is that although God is defeating antisemitism in the church, we are seeing it pop up unfortunately in other places. So it is the churches great honour, Christian's great honour to reach out to these Jewish people round the world and save their lives. In Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem) there is a statue right before you go into the museum that remembers the one and a half million children that were killed during the holocaust, on that statue it says, "If you save one life, God sees it as if you save the whole world". And it just makes my heart glad to know that we are helping save Jewish people's lives from around the world and fulfil bible prophecy at the same time.

Paul: You also support holocaust survivors, is it important to support the holocaust survivors in their final days?

Larry: You know one of the things that thrills me the most, we work with holocaust survivors in several cities around Israel but we just met some folks that run an amazing holocaust home and feeding program for the holocaust survivors outside of the home in Haifa and we were so moved by that. There is a scripture in the bible that says, "Don't worry what you are going to eat, what you are going to wear, but seek yea first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness". The word there, righteous, means look for ways to do acts of kindness and so we literally do that. When we come to Israel we literally look for, 'God where can we be a help?'
