CR spoke with Marian and her mum Remi
Continued from page 2
When she came out of the coma I was writing down in my journal, 'so what did you see?' and 'why didn't you see Jesus'. She said, 'Mum I just saw the light'. I called my Pastor and asked, 'Pastor how could Marian have been there for so long and all she saw was just the light?' You know we can laugh about it now. My Pastor says, 'Jesus is the light'. I just thank God.
I just want people to know there is a God. All they have to do is believe. All they have to do is have the faith. They should know that God loves them so much, even though I am so naughty sometimes, there's unconditional love and his mercy and grace.
Rebecca: How has going through this changed your faith?
Marian: Well in a way it's made my faith stronger in the Lord and it's made me realise that without God that nothing will help you in life.
Rebecca: Where do you hope to be in the future?
Marian: The reason why I'm doing this is to make an awareness of God, especially to the youth out there.
I was born four months early and weighed one pound. I had heart surgery. Two years ago I had back surgery and now this one with the eye drops. I'm a fighter and I'm the type of person that I don't give up. I'm a very determined person. My faith has made me well. People don't know that without God you're nothing. It's God that made me well; so I give him all the thanks and praise and I'll continue to do his work in order to help other people and to be an encouragement to them and embrace them in life.
