People raised from the dead, deaf ears hearing, blind eyes seeing, cripples getting up and walking, skin diseases healed - this is the normal Christianity of the Bible; the basics of the power of God that has hardly been seen in the Western Church for many years. But that's all changing!

Since April 1st, every night, they have been broadcasting extraordinary meetings with Todd Bentley where all the above miracles of healing and more are happening every day. Thousands upon thousands are travelling to Florida and encountering a God who is not only alive and powerful, but cares about all our needs. You can see the miracles happening before your eyes. It's compulsive viewing!

This isn't just something happening Stateside though; in Dudley in the West Midlands, they are having similar things happening and have been holding meetings for 21 nights now with thousands encountering God. (See www.revivalfires.org.uk). Many from Stoke-on-Trent have been heading to Dudley to see for themselves, including myself and I can testify that there is a very real sense of the power of God.

This Sunday I was at a church locally and heard a lady speak about being prayed for in that church (she has ovarian cancer) and her doctor doesn't understand her latest scan, as the cancer has shrunk to the point he found it hard to get a biopsy!

Within the Christian Church in the UK and the USA and elsewhere around the world, there are hundreds and thousands of stories coming out of people who believe God has touched their life with healing power.

As a Gen Xer who knew how to party, I wouldn't suggest anyone taste of a dead religion...but a God who heals? A God who is real and can move and change things in our realm? YES!!!!

Cynics will always poo poo; but if God is real and all powerful, and if God can heal, and loves us so much that He may choose to reveal Himself and His love through healing power, then what do any of us have to lose?

Jesus said "in this world you will have trouble" (some of us may feel this is an understatement with what we've suffered) - He also said "but take heart! I have overcome the world."

If you don't have access to the internet, if you can't make it to Dudley or Florida, if you can't make it to a local church, some people are even praying for themselves. A friend of ours suffered with tinnitus for 22 years, having never had a break from it; on May 2nd he prayed to Jesus for Him to heal him and the right ear was healed. He then prayed for his left ear and that was healed. Up to today, it's still gone! We cheer when our football team scores - don't you think this is exciting?

Christianity isn't a legalistic set of rules; it's a relationship with a living God. He came to give us life and life to the full.

David Grant (the TV voice coach) was on Saturday Kitchen a few months ago and said to the chefs they were 'food missionaries' trying to get him to like their food - they quite liked that concept! In this outpouring of Gods power, that seems to be going over the globe, I guess I am unashamedly a 'God missionary' so you can hear of what's happening and make a choice as to whether you'd like to find out more.
