It's impressive that this South African duo got a Grammy winning producer to help them out, in the form of Chris Theis. He did a good job, with an overall classy, contemporary urban set, yet brimming with variety. You can find smooth acid jazz, a banging house anthem, some modern reggae, a few ballads and a couple of stripped bare acoustic numbers. It's a good introduction to the vocal talents of Archie and Hunter, who can site Rihanna and Chris Brown as influences. They are confident as soloists, and united as a duo, providing complementing harmonies and extra nuances. There's some awesome falsetto (รก la Philip Bailey) in the song "Don't Wanna Fight", and some deep Barry White style commentaries in "Questions". The only real hint of any faith showing in this release is the album credits, which may disappoint some listeners, but there's not much to criticise with the collection of love songs presented here. A slight whiff of cheese appears with the line "The day we met is the day I won't forget", but the vocal delivery is in good taste and gets them out of the pickle. . .
