This, a 2002 release from America's itinerant children's worker Rob Evans (otherwise known as the Donut Man), contains a mix of older songs written specifically for children, such as story song "Nicodemus Came At Night", alongside well known adult worship songs such as the Kendrick penned "God Is Good". Between each song Evans uses narrative and interaction with the children which leads the listener on a journey and helpfully unpacks words such as "redeemed" and "born again" which are terms young children may not have a grasp or understanding of but which appear in the songs. Rob Evans also leads the songs himself and is joined in singing them by a group of enthusiastic children. The album as a whole is a lively affair which takes the child listener on a journey through salvation and Jesus' redeeming love. With a good use of Scripture (such as the Scripture memory song "2 Corinthians 5 v17") and a simple message this is a useful album, albeit a slightly dated one.
