The debut album of a new face on the acoustic rock scene in the States, and John and Dino Elefante have pulled out all the production stops to ensure that it's a goodie. Scott wrote all the songs, and he's come up with a batch of hooky material that is as uncompromising lyrically as it is musically. Not that this is in any way hard rock, it's more pop/rock, and there are some gentle moments, as in "When God Whispers", "Long Journey" and particularly "Hearts Of Passion" a piano-led ballad ("Hearts of passion, hearts of fire, hearts that long to know you more than the passions of this life..."). The word on the ground Stateside is that Scott is set to be a big noise on the CCM scene, and on this evidence, we'll be hearing more of him in the future, particularly if he can keep writing songs as good as these. A quality debut.

I am very proud of Scott's work. This is an outstanding album, and as I grow older I appreciate the lyrics more and more.
