Kampala-born Lule feels a strong calling to share his faith through music and all of his songs reflect a desire to share God's goodness with those who hear. This third Album of his music continues these themes as Lule takes on songwriting, arrangement and singing duties. There is a mix of lighter poppy styles which seek to take in some reggae, soul and funk influences on this album but no one 'feel' stands out. There are some good backing vocals, the band are competent though not flashy and the songs hang together with a solid rhythm and gentle piano and guitar feel throughout, - but that is perhaps the limit of the strengths of this recording. Whilst wanting to encourage Lule's calling to share the Good News, the songs on this collection are somewhat repetitive and are badly let down by the limitations of Paul's vocal range, which often feels either flat or strained. A definite 'A' for effort, but sad to say the finished album is very poor.
