A punk-tinged opener “In Love With You” has a nice line in irony featuring a list of absurd things man thinks he loves (“I can love my burger, I can love my fries/Chocolate shakes and apple pies”). “Your Love” is slower while “Julie” is a rather dreary acoustic ballad. But then things pick up for the rocker “Step Into The Light”. Tightly played by Bo Cook (the chap who provides all the vocals, guitars and bass) is a clearly pretty talented. Probably doesn’t stand out from the crowd but still a good EP from one of the seemingly thousands of American Christian rock outfits.
