The 15,000 worshippers who gathered at the Royal Bath & West Showground last year clearly had a wonderful time and, which isn't always the case with live albums, have produced a wonderful record. Producer Caroline Bonnett has got the mix just right, balancing artfully between live atmosphere and audio clarity. The worship leaders Gareth Robinson, Neil Bennetts and Tim Hughes each bring something fresh and vital to the proceedings and the choice of songs is a deft blend of the old (very old in the case of a stirring "Amazing Grace") and the new. For the latter I particularly enjoyed Gareth Robinson's "Good And Gracious" opener. Another excellent addition to the Worship Experience series.
