Having been the very unlikely recipients of pop chart exposure with their contribution to the Alarm's "New South Wales" single, one expected at the very least a Bono or Phil Collins popping in to guest a vocal. But no, what we have here is the standard trad stuff. Stirring male voices put through their impeccable paces by choir conductor Alwyn Humphries. Not all the material works, their versions of Kendrick's "Shine Jesus Shine" and Melody Green's "There Is A Redeemer" are extremely dull. But a lovely devotional ballad like "O How He Loves You" works well. An album for traditionalists looking to move a little bit into the heady world of contemporary praise music.
