Originally titled 'Live '96' and released, not surprisingly, in 1996, this is an adequate and often enjoyable snapshot of the singer/pianist recorded in concert at Normanton Parish Church. Her sweet toned voice sounds fine on her compositions like "He Gives Joy", "Can A Mother Forget Her Little Child" and "God Wants To Give You A Glorious New Life" while she's accompanied by an excellent band which includes the flute and guitar of Simeon And John. Marilyn isn't the most dynamic performer you'll ever hear but she has been a faithful servant to Christian music and her legion of fans may well be interested in this reissue even if Authentic are really stretching it with their "Classic" claim.
