Originally hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Lex previously recorded as Lex Brodie on the 'Soul Sista: Precious' project. Now she has recorded this eight track mini-album. Now working with Tim Hughes resourcing and training up worship leaders. With Les Moir taking production credits you know this is going to be a quality recording. "Hope" is my favourite track - it has a very restrained, stripped back feel that make the encouraging words stand to the fore. Like all of the Soul Survivor worship leaders Lex clearly has a heart for leading people into God's presence with her pop and (occasionally) country-tinged songs. All the numbers demand another listening and although they are perhaps a bit arranged for adoption by your average worship group they do compel you to listen to the lyrics which (without exception) lift you heavenward. An enjoyable showcase.

Lex was the worship leader for my community group at Passion07. She has an amazing voice, and you can tell that she has a great heart for God. Her original music calls you to a deeper experience with Jesus. Lex is awesome!

I was at Soul Survivor and impressed by all the worship leaders, as they were not motivated by the need to be seen as important because they were up there on the stage. They were truly worshipping God and leading us into deeper worship. We have bought Lex's album and it has blessed us enormously since then,on plenty of journeys.

Lex has long been an inspirational worship leader at Soul Survivor Watford and it's great that she's now released this album. With her warm, sensitive vocals and clear passion for Jesus, she really lifts the heart with these songs!
