Many CCM buffs now know that one of the richest seams of Christian music is the current Australian scene and though it's ultra difficult to get your hands on hot albums by the likes of Eat The Menu and David Evans, anything that stems from that continent, like this from an Aussie singer/songwriter, requires a close examination. I must confess after the first song I was doing my air guitar impressions in front of my landing mirror with a tie secured to my forehead, but when I sat down again disappointment reigned. This album wasn't awful, musically it has a heavy blues feel, but it just wasn't involved enough for me. His message throughout this album is never crystal clear and it's only Mullen's attempts at ballads that give us a clue to his spiritual orientation. For me, this album will only be enjoyed by those keen on blues-orientated pop. Mullen and his band do have bags of potential but they need to be stronger in most departments to tingle my ears
