You may remember a while back Cross Rhythms featured a Welsh singer/songwriter called Tony Cornish. Tony is now fronting this three piece and this is their debut album. The strength of the set is Tony's lyrics dealing with the modern malaise ("Pull" - "I can tell that you've been here before/Pushing a door marked pull") or mankind's unreality ("Sleepwalking" - "You say 'I'll do the things I know I must/And all I need is this fairy dust/And my Neverland will want for nothing more'"). Shame ther isn't a fuller sound and better arrangements. As it is, the thin sound mars emjoyment.
