The promo version of this CD that I've been listening to proudly proclaims that this CD's producer is US CCM man Jamie Slocum. In fact Jamie's name on the CD is almost as big as Nashville-based Curt's. As a fan of Jamie's and knowing that he co-wrote some of the songs here I was really looking forward to this. On putting the CD in the slot I was glad to be greeted by music that sounds professional and excellently produced. There was one problem though - after listening to the entire album apart from a cover of "Cats In The Cradle" I couldn't remember one single tune or chorus so I listened to it again. and again. and still I couldn't remember a single melody or lyric. Make no mistake, these two guys know how to sing and produce good music. But on this occasion I'm sad to say nobody remembered that songs actually do need a hook somewhere.

I completely disagree. From the first time I heard Curt
Collins CD it has become one of my favorite. Serveral of
his songs have had a way of sticking in my mind and heart
all day. Give it another try... It's worth it.
