This widely travelled male voice choir has been a great success in competitive singing in recent years, no less than four first prizes at the National Eisteddfod in consecutive years. A mighty sound it is too, controlled yet capable of unleashing considerable vocal dynamite. Most of the recording features powerful gospel hymns including "Be Thou Our Guide", "De Animals A-Comin"', "With A Voice Of Singing" (what a sound!), "The Creation", "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross", "Jerusalem" and the surprising selection of Jack Hayford's "Majesty" (odd to hear that sung in Welsh!). The album closes with a rousing "Men Of Harlech". A highly polished choir, given sensitive instrumental backing, this is coordinated, passionate male voice singing at its best.
