British rapper Cirus brings what I believe is his debut, a six-track EP. Each cut, alongside Cirus' breathless monotone flows, features singer Grace (except for the final track where Jemma features). The track for "Choices" has an old skool drum machine TR-303-style break as the emcee brings a challenge about choices in life. Springing into "Goliath", Cirus recounts the true Bible story through energetic UK hip-hop flows with the sung hook reflecting Goliath-fighting situations in our lives. Similar is "Jonah" where the soundtrack just fits and sits together with balance as Cirus recounts Jonah's story with Grace's ethereal vocals adding to the track. Another Biblical recounting is "Samson" which tells how Samson lacked self-control over his temper and lust while "I Know" is Cirus' personal of how God changed him through stages ("I used to build on the sand/Now I build on the rock"). The end track "WWJD" (What Would Jesus Do) is a thoughtful challenge to Christians of how to live.
