This is Trip Lee's debut project from Reach Records, he is also part of 116 Clique along with Tedashii, Sho Bakara and Lecrae. This is from 2006 and his new album is out now called '20/20'. Trip Lee and friends were over in the UK last year for a successful stint in Birmingham, even talking to the BBC about the rise of violence in the United Kingdom. The album also guest stars Lecrae, Flame, Json, JR, Tedashii, Cam and the experienced Ambassador. Trip is unashamed about his faith and comes boldly across in his lyrics, the beats are tight, varied and interesting. Highlights include "Who Ya Rollin Wit" and "Why Me". All in all, although not a classic a very good debut from a talented MC. Let's pray there is lots more to come.
