This CD has a variety of soul searching songs of praise. These gospel grooves melt into R&B and jazz as Shawnte's soothing voice belts out some strong songs. The words are very touching and together with the memorable melodies tug the heartstrings and prompt real praise. The album includes the single "I Love You More", a smooth and graceful song, and the encouraging "Don't Give Up". Other nice praise numbers include the title track and "He's More Than A Friend". With tunes like this it is not surprising that Shawnte's music is getting airplay on gospel and jazz radio stations throughout Southern California and that she won the local 2007 Teen Gospel Award there too. I would recommend this album from an up and coming teenage artist.
