The Parachute Band have been struttin' their funky praise and worship stuff in Auckland, New Zealand for several years, and in that time they've shown that they have struck a rich seam of gospel-tinged material which is the antidote for many to the glossy (some may say over-glossy) Hillsongs. This CD features selections from the three Parachute Band releases 'You Alone', 'Adore' (both released in the UK by Kingsway) and 'Always And Forever', and all the tracks feature the light band, energetic and hard-hitting vocals, mostly featuring the excellent Wayne and Libby Huirua, and strong God-directed numbers that have become Parachute trademarks. If you've not experienced the Parachute worship experience, this album is a good place to start. If you're already a fan, look out for their latest release 'Love' - it's a better; and so is this.
