Singer/songwriter Krissy Nordhoff is new to the UK marketplace, though she has gained critical acclaim in her native United States. From the outset it is quite obvious that Krissy is an extremely talented singer and songwriter. 'Thank Him' is her personal journey including her experience of Lymes disease. Each track has a paragraph providing an insight into the song's inspiration, which was a nice touch. In the US her style has been likened to Susan Ashton and Sara Groves. To be honest, 'Thank Him' is very reminiscent of many female singer/songwriters from the other side of the Atlantic (Tori Amos, Alannis Morrisette), although I would say Nordhoff's music is somehow sweeter. The songs are well crafted, performed and produced. Check out her site for MP3 previews of many of the songs.
