Katy is a singer/songwriter from Dallas who leads worship in her church and also in French-speaking nations. She previously released an EP in that language in 2015. This collection reflects her worship direction with general contemplative lyrics and simple backing (mainly keyboard and guitar). The result is something quite special. "All Yours" sounds like you are eavesdropping on a prayer, while the title track is a testimony from the heart. Clearly Katy's voice suits this gentle, contemplative approach. "You Surround Me" is an encouraging song of some beauty written with a catchy chorus which will stick with you after a few listens. 'Our Love Story', produced by Michael Gomez, may not be the most dynamic album you've ever heard, but it's still a skilfully crafted debut.
