After their UK tour was cancelled at the eleventh hour, a rumour began to circulate that the band had broken up which would have been a tragedy considering the superb quality of the 'Holy Soldier' debut last year. But here they storm back with an album which though following much of American white metal's stampede into softer, more radio-acceptable soft metal-cum-AOR (love you guys, Whitecross!), has some great songs, fine production from the oh-so-talented David Zaffiro and lyrics which often take a more realistic look at the realities of living the Christian life than the first album (and there's not a Book Of Revelation song in earshot!). Standouts are "Virtue And Vice" dealing with the spiritual schizophrenic state of compromising with sin and the ballad "Tuesday Mourning".
