It's good to see Nelson Word are still importing some of the 'harder' edged bands in the Christian market. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed by this release. Probably due to the fact there are far too many musical influences on one album. There's thrash, indie, rap, hardcore, pop and funk (however such diverse mixes are not always terminal, eg, Dub War's 'Pain'). Metal at the moment seems to be going through a laid back, almost lackadaisical attitude towards the music with a lot of grunge influences blending in. This doesn't particularly appeal to me, as I prefer progressive music. However, my brother and his mates adore this album. So it just goes to show maybe I'm becoming a little old fashioned. Anyone who likes listening to the likes of Alice In Chains, Mortal and Die Happy try this one out.
