The full-length follow-up to the Tribal Eagle' EP from this gutsy thrash band from Finland. Take the classic riffs of Thin Lizzy or UFO and throw in the vocalist from Napalm Death (from a safe distance -obviously) and you will arrive at the Deuteronium sound. Tracks like "Bonsai People" show the band's ability to string together a powerful lyric and this element, mixed with strong but not overly abrasive guitars make SCQ' an accomplished work from a developing band. There are a couple of dodgy moments, check out the rap/reggae climax to "Human Nature" for example (no, don't). But overall I enjoyed the album and listened all the way to the Finnish (sorry).
