26 year-old Kelle Bryan is diagnosed with a potentially fatal disease
ONE-TIME member of chart-making R&B pop group Eternal, Kelle Bryan, has been diagnosed as having the potentially fatal disease lupus. Kelle spent two months in hospital when she was first diagnosed, but her condition is now being kept under control with drugs. Kelle, 26, said, "When I was diagnosed, I had to deal with this whole thing, because there's no cure. I had to deal with the fact that I could die at any time. But I'm here, I'm breathing, I'm happy. This is my life and I'm going to enjoy it." Kelle quit Eternal three years ago after clashes with fellow singers Easther and Vernie Bennett. She was still in her teens when the group celebrated their first hit, "Stay", in 1993.
