Tye Tribbett follows Da'T.R.U.T.H. into moral controversy
FURTHER revelations about the moral character of leading American gospel acts have rocked the American scene following the earlier announcement that best selling rapper Da'T.R.U.T.H. was taking a sabbatical because of a "moral indiscretion". It has now emerged that Tye Tribbett, leader and founder of the Greater Anointing (GA) choir, has also fallen into sin. It has been revealed that in May, Tribbett's wife Shante found out that he was having an extra marital affair with a member of GA who had previously had a child by another member of the choir. When Tye's adultery came to light, it was agreed that Da'T.R.U.T.H., a long-time friend of Tye and a married minister, would counsel both Tribbett and his wife. But instead of bringing a reconciliation between the estranged couple, Da'T.R.U.T.H. began an extra-marital affair with Shante.
In a separate development Da'T.R.U.T.H.'s record company Cross
Movement Records have announced "the suspension of the promotion and
forwarding of the artist, minister and ministry of Da'T.R.U.T.H. aka
Emanuel Lambert Jr, due to recent findings of moral failure in his
marriage." So far neither Tye Tribbett nor his record company
Integrity Music have made a public statement about the revelations.
Thank God for the power in the blood which gives it the ability to save us all. Still love you Tye and Shante
