Fondly remembered Burlap To Cashmere to record new album.
A SERIOUS car accident and ensuing assault which nearly took the life of one time Burlap To Cashmere guitarist Johnny Philippidis has lead to the band deciding to make a new record. Said Burlap's frontman Steven Delopoulous, "We almost lost him. It really is a miracle. He made a full recovery. He's on his feet - playing guitar, playing music. And that really kind of brought us to want to do another Burlap To Cashmere record again." While the band begin work on their comeback album, Delopoulous is set to release a solo acoustic project independently, produced by Monroe Jones. This is a follow up to Delopoulous' 2003 solo debut 'Me Died Blue' for Universal South.
