Northumbria's Hyldas release debut album

CELTIC-inspired worship music is featured on the album 'As The Rain Hides The Stars' by the group Hyldas. The Nottingham- and Sunderland-based group consist of Clare Hunt (vocals, violin), Mike Clifford (whistles, mandolin, vocals) and Tim Thwaites, who produced the album at the Observatory, Nottingham. The band is inspired in part by the outlook and writings of the Northumbria Community and features "old hymns with great words put to folk tunes old and new, bridging the sacred/secular divide."
