Sufjan Stevens returns with another five volumes of Christmas songs

ANOTHER box set of Christmas material has been released by idiosyncratic singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens. 'Silver & Gold: Songs For Christmas Vols 6-10' is released on Stevens' Asthmatic Kitty label. A review in Record Collector magazine commented on one of the CDs in the set, "'Let It Snow' sees a return to the cutesy indie of much of the first five volumes, while the final disc 'Christmas Unicorn' deals in ambitious electronica, its title track a near 13-minute showstopper." CR
