Owl City to release 'The Midsummer Station' in August

MAINSTREAM star Owl City, otherwise known as Adam Young and now enjoying a hit with the 'Shooting Star' EP, will release his next full length album 'The Midsummer Station' on 14th August. On the new album Young is joined by one of his heroes, blink-182's Mark Hoppus. "Call Me Maybe" star Carly Rae Jepsen also duets with Young on a song. CR

Firstly, the release date has changed to August 21 (September 17 in the UK). Secondly, I strongly recommend you reconsider the adjective you used to describe Owl City. He is magical, adorable, breathtaking, enchanting, inspirational, wonderfully talented, the list goes on. One thing he is not, is mainstream.

I'm sorry, but if someone is NOT a "mainstream"-star, then it's Adam Young. He is far more talented than all the people you hear on the radio and has loads of musical experience and side projects which are everything, but not mainstream, and Owl City isn't either. Otherwise he would have had way more radio hits, which isn't the case. Only because he is collabing with famous artists right now it doesn't mean he's mainstream. So please leave that word out of this. Thank you.
