ON THE new album by Cliff
Richard, the singing star will be duetting with his hero Elvis
Presley. Featured on Sir Cliff's new album 'Just. Fabulous Rock 'n'
Roll' is a version of "Blue Suede Shoes" which sees Elvis' vocals
added to a new version of the song recorded by Cliff. The duet has
been endorsed by the Presley estate and follows similar posthumous
collaborations with Susan Boyle and Barbara Streisand. The new album
was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville and features Cliff
singing songs originally recorded by Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker,
Jerry Lee Lewis, Smiley Lewis and Sam Cooke as well as a new version
of Cliff's first number one hit "Move It". Cliff reported that the
album represents a "happy, creative and in many ways an innocent time.
I find it hard to believe that my career has spanned this length of
time and I still get the chance to do the thing I love best - to get
into a studio." It will be the veteran's 101st album.
